About Lou
Lou Marzeles is multiple-award winning folk-rock songwriter and performer and artist on the Akashic Records label. He has a custom truss rod cover on his Taylor guitar that reads, "Music is love in search of a word," a quote from Sidney Lanier that encapsulates Lou's musical approach and purpose.

Lou's songs helped win a band a recording contract with a renowned producer. He has won a multitude of best-song and best-performer awards nationwide, especially in the San Francisco Bay Area. Today he performs at wineries, corporate gigs, and house concerts both hither and yon. He plays keyboards, guitar, mandolin, and the E-flat kazoo. He believes music is a carrier of intention and purpose.
